April 22, 23 & 24 2026 - InPerson Drying Class
$1,395.00 per student
This 3-day, in-person drying class in Indianapolis is designed for the whole restoration team—owners, project managers, estimators, and technicians—to master a repeatable, science-based drying system they can deploy on every loss. Participants will learn how to confidently calculate target conditions, justify drying decisions to adjusters, and reduce days on the job while protecting margins through better documentation and estimating practices.
What attendees will learn
-
How to make sense of psychrometric logs, read psychrometric data, and know day by day whether current drying strategies are actually working.
-
How to select and size dehumidifiers, air movers, air filtration devices, heaters, and manage grain depression so the right technologies are used in the right conditions.
-
How to calculate which conditions will dry the fastest, how much faster, and how to predict drying times with confidence.
-
How to apply the science and math of evaporation to real-world water mitigation while staying complementary to IICRC standards, not contradictory.
Hands-on flood house experience
-
Students will flood and dry a full-scale “flood house,” using the E3 methodology, the E3 app, and other industry standards in a 50/50 mix of classroom and hands-on lab time.
-
Real-time monitoring and app-driven decision-making will show attendees how to evaluate and adjust their drying strategies on the fly.
E3 metric and documentation
-
Attendees will learn E3 Enthalpy Evaporation Evaluation, the only metric designed to tell you if a drying scenario is performing properly based on multiple conditions.
-
The class shows how to use this metric and related data to document jobs clearly, support billing, and communicate value to adjusters and clients.
Outcomes and logistics
-
Every participant will leave with a repeatable drying system they can implement immediately with their team back home.
-
This course awards a certificate of completion and qualifies for IICRC Continuing Education Credits.
